Special Education
If a child needs additional support, there is a process for determining whether or not a child is eligible for special education services and, if so, what special education services are most appropriate for the child. Visit the LAUSD Division of Special Education for resources and workshops .
Franklin Avenue Elementary’s goal is to provide a quality education for all students within the least restrictive environment. Franklin offers a variety of therapies such as speech, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, and mental health services. These are done either by pulling a student out of class (pull out) or providing support within the classroom (push in).
